What's your favorite memory with Elsie?
Elsie and I moved across the country together. It was just her and I and all of my things crammed into my SUV. We both got to experience many firsts together during that trip - driving through the mountains, changing a tire on the side of the road, staying in a sketchy model in the middle of nowhere on Route 66 and more.

What's the most important lesson Elsie has taught you?
Elsie reminds me to be present, to find joy in the small things (like a walk or a treat), and to forgive quickly. In their quiet and goofy way, dogs show us what it means to be loyal, to listen without judgment, and to live with an open heart.

How do you celebrate and make special moments with Elsie?
As Elsie has gotten older, every moment has become special. It's hard to know what trip to the dog park or walk around the block might be her last. I am so lucky to have her for as long as I have!
